It is true some people come into our lives to bless and transform it. Llyod blessed yours as mine was blessed by Eric when i was only 19. I used to believe i was very ugly because my MOTHER made it a point to tell me at leat four times a day that i was as ugly as a baboon and how she wished i had been a boy so my ugliness wouldn’t show so much. She even nicknamed me THE UGLY DUCKLING. I have topped my class from basic school to date (in one of the best universities in Ghana now) but i lacked self confidence and so missed so many opportunities that could have helped me a great deal. But as Eric came into my life at age 19 he told me i was beautiful, he taught me to believe in myself and he showed me love. I pushed him away but with time, i realised he was for real.He helped build my confidence and believe you me i even MC big events in my current school. Next year i will graduate and we plan on getting married.His education is not as high as mine but i will help him build it just as he built me my self esteem and confidence.

Some men are angels sent from Heaven above Llyod no doubt was one. I hope God sends an angel to each person who really needs love.

They say, success leaves a trail :). So many woman are out there believing that they are no real good men left out there and that they will never find love. Yours is an inspiration, a true testimony justifying that what lies ahead, nobody knows. Never give up on love. Pick yourself up and keep going. God bless you and good luck with your new man.

Your story of happiness sounded so unbelievable at first, when you were describing the years of happiness with that man. It sounded more like a fairy tail to me. I've been married 3 times myself, and was in a number of relationships, and none of them, including my current marriage, are easy. May be the problem is in me. Then, as I was reading your story furhter, about the tragedy that happened with your Love, I thought, why is that that nothing Good ever lasts! Again, going back to my life, whenever I felt at my happiest, things would always go bad with the men… I feel extremely sad for what happened to you; but on the other hand, you are so lucky that you've experienced true happiness, even though you had to pay for it such a high price. I hope that this new relationship will bring you happiness and peace. It will never be the same as with Lloyd, but it will be something different. And that's what is Life about: it has so many facets. Every person we meet through our lifetime brings us Joy of discovering ourselves in many different ways that we were unaware about. What an inspiring story. My heart goes out to you Beth. Like all the others I hope that this new guy will bring you the same amount of love and understanding that your precious husband did.
We all me included also hope that someone like your Lloyd will manage to past us by.
I also have the same insecurities as you did when it comes to the intimate affairs of the heart. Before anything serious can happen I choose to run away. But with your story I know I will make it through this stage in my life and that I will eventually find someone I can grow old with.
